KiDi

KiDi, known in private life as Dennis Nana Dwamena, has succeeded in carving a niche for himself with his smooth voice, bad boy looks and fame as the MTN Hit Maker 2015 winner.

Signed to Lynx Entertainment after winning the competition, KiDi’s first official single ‘Naadu’, features label mate MzVee and was produced by Magnom. The music video for the single was directed by Nana Kofi Asihene. He went on to sing an acoustic cover of Joey B’s UXME and followed it with Awurama and Never Again.

In 2017, KiDi cemented his roots in the Ghana Music industry with two successful hit songs Say You Love Me and Odo which had Davido and Mayorkun from Nigeria jump on a Remix.

KiDi received several nominations at the 2018 and 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards including ‘Best New Artiste’, ‘Afro-pop Song of the Year’, ‘ Highlife Song of the Year’, ‘Highlife Artist of The Year’, ‘Popular Song of the Year’, ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ and went on to win the award for ‘High-life Song of the Year’ for ‘ODO’ at the 2018, Ghana Music Awards and ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2019 Awards. He was also nominated for several awards at the Ghana Music Awards UK and 3 Music Awards. KiDi won the Artiste of the Year award at the 3 Music Awards, 2021.

KiDi released his debut album “Sugar” in 2019 with a movie also titled “Sugar”. The movie was premiered in Accra, Kumasi and the UK.
Lynx Entertainment signed a partnership deal for KiDi in 2020 with international record labels, “Made In East New York” and “Empire” for the global distribution and marketing of KiDi’s work.
